The purpose of this post is to announce that, as of next week, in an effort to combat the spam epidemic that has been plaguing this board for the last month, we shall be banning the IP blocks for the sources of the majority of the spam. These locations include:

Moscow, Russia
St. Petersburg, Russia
Kiev, Ukraine
Caunas, Latvia
Erfurt, Germany
Frankfurt, Germany
British Virgin Islands

However, as we do not wish to punish legitimate users residing in those locations, if you live in or around these locations, please send a moderator a message stating such and we shall exempt you from the block ban. An email address shall be posted after the ban goes into effect for new and intermittent users to contact us with. Thank you.

We have done the mass IP bans for the IP blocks from the listed locations as of this time. IP blocks which have significant spammer activity from them in the future might be likewise banned.
